OncoSentia MRD test for NSCLC
OncoSentia MRD is a tumour-agnostic, plasma-informed minimal residual disease (MRD) liquid biopsy test intended to support longitudinal molecular monitoring in patients diagnosed with unresectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
OncoSentia MRD leverages circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) analysis and hybrid capture next-generation sequencing (NGS) combined with multi-modal MRD classification to detect molecular evidence of residual disease during and after consolidation treatment.
By combining personalised, patient sample-specific biomarker tracking with a tissue-free approach, OncoSentia MRD provides additional molecular insight into disease status and may help inform progression alongside established clinical and imaging assessment.
- Designed, developed and validated for unresectable stage III NSCLC
- Plasma-informed, personalised molecular residual disease monitoring without prior tumour tissue sampling
- Longitudinal molecular monitoring
Minimal residual disease and ctDNA monitoring in NSCLC
Minimal residual disease (MRD) refers to a very small number of cancer cells, or fragments that may remain in the body after treatment and may lead to recurrence, often undetected by conventional clinical assessment.
Circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) represents the tumour-derived fraction of cell-free DNA found in the bloodstream. Analysis of ctDNA through liquid biopsy provides a minimally invasive approach to assessing molecular disease status profiling through a blood sample.
In NSCLC, longitudinal ctDNA testing enables monitoring molecular disease dynamics over time, including during durvalumab consolidation therapy and post-treatment surveillance.
OncoSentia MRD is intended to provide additional molecular information while complementing established clinical and radiological assessment.
Clinical value at a glance
Where does OncoSentia MRD fit in the NSCLC patient pathway?
OncoSentia MRD is intended for patients diagnosed with unresectable stage II or III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) undergoing molecular monitoring following definitive treatment, including during consolidation therapy and post-treatment surveillance. *
- During consolidation therapy
Supports longitudinal monitoring of ctDNA status during consolidation therapy. - During surveillance
Enables repeat molecular assessment at clinically relevant intervals alongside routine clinical and imaging follow-up.
*Clinical validation data are derived from the DART trial1.
The OncoSentia MRD approach to MRD testing
OncoSentia MRD combines a tumour-agnostic workflow with plasma-informed personalisation, enabling patient sample-specific ctDNA detection without requiring prior tumour tissue sampling.
