Overview
Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2) is an inherited predisposition to medullary thyroid carcinoma, phaeochromocytoma, and parathyroid disease. Three clinical subtypes are recognised: MEN2A, MEN2B, and familial medullary thyroid carcinoma (FMTC, now considered a variant of MEN2A), distinguished by tumour spectrum and age of onset.
